Tallis Like Turkish

The “Like Turkish” tallit is woven according to type of prayer shawl that was manufactured in Tunisia more than 150 years ago. However, unlike the original Turkish and Tunisian prayer shawls, this type of weave does not make use of the thick and coarse wool yarn, that was used in Tunisia but are woven from fine pure wool yarns.

The tallit comes with a lining and side reinforcements adding many years to the durability of the prayer shawl. The like Turkey/Tunis prayer shawls preserve in a unique manner a centuries old tradition woven into a modern tallit.
